۴۰۱.الإمامُ علیٌّ علیه السلام : أنا أوَّلُ مَن یَجْثو لِلخُصومَةِ بینَ یدَیِ اللَّهِ عزّ وجلّ یومَ القیامةِ .۱۳

۴۰۱.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'I am the first who will plead for justice before Allah on the Day of Resurrection.' ۱۴

۴۰۲.الإمامُ علیٌّ علیه السلام : أنا أوَّلُ مَن أسلَمَ .۱۵

۴۰۲.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'I was the first to embrace Islam.' ۱۶

۴۰۳.الإمامُ علیٌّ علیه السلام : أنا أوَّلُ مَن صَلّى‏ مَع النّبیِّ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله .۱۷

۴۰۳.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'I was the first to pray with the Prophet (SAWA).' ۱۸

۳۷۴.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله - لِعلیٍّ علیه السلام - : أنتَ مِنّی بمنزلةِ هارونَ مِن موسى‏ إلّا أنّه لا نَبیَّ بَعدی .۱

۳۷۴. The Prophet (SAWA) said to Ali (AS), 'Your position with respect to me is as that of Aaron ۲ to Moses, except that there is no prophet after me.' ۳

۳۷۵.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله - عندما ذُكِرَتِ الإمارةُ أو الخلافةُ عندَهُ - : إنْ وَلَّیتُموها علیّاً وجَدْتُموهُ هادِیاً مَهْدِیّاً ، یَسلُكُ بكُمْ علَى الطّریقِ المستقیمِ .۴

۳۷۵. The Prophet (SAWA), when the issue of the rulership and the successorship [after him] was mentioned, said, 'If you entrust the government to Ali, you will find him a rightly-guided guide, who will take you to the right path.' ۵

۳۷۶.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : مَن أرادَ أن یَنظُرَ إلى‏ آدمَ فی علمِهِ ، وإلى‏ نوحٍ فی فَهمِهِ ، وإلى‏ إبراهیمَ فی حِلمِهِ ، وإلى‏ یحیى‏ بنِ زكریّا فی زُهدِهِ ، وإلى‏ موسى‏ بنِ عِمرانَ فی بَطْشِهِ ، فَلیَنْظُرْ إلى‏ علیِّ بنِ أبِی طالبٍ .۶

۳۷۶.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Whoever wishes to look at Adam for his knowledge, Noah ۷ for his understanding, Abraham for his clemency, John [the Baptist] ۸ son of Zacharias ۹ for his abstemiousness, and Moses son of Amran for his might, should look at Ali b. Abu Talib.' ۱۰

۳۷۰.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : علیٌّ مِنّی وأنا مِنهُ .۵

۳۷۰.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Ali is from me and I am from him.' ۶

۳۷۱.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : علیٌّ مِنّی بمنزلةِ رَأسی مِن بَدَنی .۷

۳۷۱.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Ali is to me like my head is to my body.' ۸

۳۷۲.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : إنّ علِیّاً لَحْمُهُ مِن لَحْمی ودَمُهُ مِن دَمی .۹

۳۷۲. The Prophet said, 'Verily Ali's flesh is from my flesh and his blood is from my blood.' ۱۰

۳۷۳.تاریخ دمشق : إنّ النّبیَّ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله كان بعرَفَةَ وعلیٌّ تجاهَهُ ، فقالَ : یا علیُّ ، اُدْنُ مِنّی (و) ضَعْ خَمْسَكَ فی خَمْسِی . یا علیُّ ، خُلِقْتُ أنا وأنتَ مِن شَجَرةٍ أنا أصلُها وأنتَ فَرعُها ، والحَسَنُ والحُسَینُ أغصانُها ، مَن تَعَلّقَ بغُصْنٍ مِنها أدخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الجَنّةَ .۱۱

۳۷۳. Jabir narrated, 'The Prophet (SAWA) was once in Arafa and Ali (A.S) was facing him. He then said to him, 'Ali, come closer to me and place your five [fingers of your hand] on my five. O Ali, you and I have been created from one tree. I am its root and you are its trunk. Hasan and Husayn are its branches. Whoever clings onto any of its branches, Allah will make him enter Paradise.' ۱۲

۳۶۵.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : أنا مدینةُ العلمِ وعلیٌّ بابُها ، فمَن أرادَ العلمَ فلْیَأتِ البابَ .۱

۳۶۵. The Prophet said, 'I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate, whosoever wants the knowledge should approach it through its gate.' ۲

۳۶۶.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : أنا دارُ الحِكمةِ وعلیٌّ بابُها .۳

۳۶۶.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'I am the house of wisdom and Ali is its door.' ۴

۳۶۷.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : أقضى‏ اُمّتی وأعلمُ اُمّتی بَعدی علیٌّ .۵

۳۶۷.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The most superior in judgment from my community and the most learned of my community after me is Ali.' ۶

۳۶۱.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : علیٌّ مَع الحقِّ والحقُّ مَع علیٍّ ، یَدورُ حَیثُما دارَ۱ .۲

۳۶۱.The Prophet (SAWA) said, Ali is with the truth and the truth is with Ali - it turns wherever he turns [ they are inseparable].' ۳

۳۶۲.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : الحقُّ مع علیٍّ أیْنَما مالَ .۴

۳۶۲.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The truth is with Ali wherever he inclines.' ۵

۳۶۳.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : علیٌّ معَ الحقِّ والحقُّ معَ علیٍّ ، ولن یَتَفَرّقا حتّى‏ یَرِدا علَیَّ الحوضَ یومَ القیامةِ .۶

۳۶۳.The Prophet (SAWA) said, Ali is with the Qur'an and the Qur'an is with Ali. They will never separate until they come to me at the Heavenly Waters.' ۷

۳۶۴.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : علیٌّ مَع الحقِّ والقرآنِ ، والحقُّ والقرآنُ معَ علیٍّ ، ولن یَتَفَرَّقا حتّى‏ یَرِدا علَیّ الحوضَ .۸

۳۶۴.The Prophet (SAWA) said, Ali is with the truth and the Qur'an, and the truth and the Qur'an are with Ali, and they will not separate until they come to me at the Heavenly Waters.' ۹

۳۵۸.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : مَن كنتُ مَولاهُ فعلیٌّ مَولاهُ .۱

۳۵۸.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'For whosoever I am master, Ali is his master.' ۲

۳۵۹.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : إنّ علیّاً منّی وأنا مِنهُ ، وهُو ولیُّ كلِّ مؤمنٍ بَعدی .۳

۳۵۹.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Certainly Ali is from me and I am from him, and he is the custodian of every believer.' ۴

۳۶۰.تاریخ دمشق عن عبدِ الرّحمنِ بنِ أبی لیلى‏ : شَهِدتُ علیّاً فی الرُّحبةِ یَنْشُدُ النّاسَ : أنْشُدُ اللَّهَ مَن سَمِعَ رسولَ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله یقولُ یومَ غدیرِ خُمّ : « مَن كنتُ مولاهُ فعلیٌّ مولاهُ » لَمّا قامَ فشَهِدَ ، قالَ عبدُ الرّحمنِ : فقامَ اثنا عَشَرَ بَدْریّاً، كأنّی أنظُرُ إلى‏ أحدِهِم ، فقالوا: نَشهَدُ أنّا سَمِعْنا رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله یقولُ یومَ غدیرِ خُمٍّ : ألستُ أولى‏ بالمؤمنینَ ... ؟ فقُلنا: بلى‏ یا رسولَ اللَّهِ ، قالَ : مَنْ كنتُ موَلاهُ فعلیٌّ مَولاهُ ، اللّهمَّ والِ مَن والاهُ وعادِ مَن عاداهُ .۵

۳۶۰. Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Layla said, 'I witnessed Ali in Ruhba [Kufa] summoning out to the people: I summon before Allah whosoever heard the Prophet say on the Day of Ghadir Khum, 'For whosoever I am master, Ali is his master' to stand and bear witness. [Abd al-Rahman said], 'Twelve men from Badr stood up, like as if I am looking at one of them[ recollect them one by one], saying, 'We bear witness that we heard the Prophet (SAWA) say on the Day of Ghadir Khum: 'Do I not have more authority over the believers than their own selves...?' Then we said, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He then said, 'Then, for whosoever I am master, Ali is his master. O Allah befriend whoever befriends him and fight whoever fights him.

۳۵۳.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : علیٌّ إمامُ البَرَرةِ ، وقاتِلُ الفَجَرةِ ، منصورٌ مَن نَصرَهُ ، مَخذولٌ مَن خَذلَهُ .۱

۳۵۳.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Ali is the Imam of the righteous, and the fighter of the insolent lot. Whoever helps him is helped [by Allah] and whoever abandons him is abandoned [by Allah].' ۲

۳۵۴.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : اُوحِیَ إلیَّ فی علیٍّ بثلاث خصال : أنَّهُ سَیّدُ المسلِمینَ ، وإمامُ المُتّقِینَ ، وقائدُ الغُرِّ المُحَجَّلینَ .۳

۳۵۴.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'It has been revealed to me about Ali that he is the chief of the Muslims, the Imam of the Godwary, and the leader of the bright faced ones.' ۴

۳۵۵.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه علیه وآله : إنّ اللَّهَ عزّ وجلّ عَهِدَ إلیَّ فی علیِّ عَهْداً، قلتُ : یا ربِّ بَیِّنْهُ لی . قالَ: اسْمَعْ . قلتُ : قد سَمِعْتُ ، قالَ : إنّ علِیّاً رایةُ الهُدى‏ وإمامُ أولیائی ونورُ مَن أطاعَنی ، وهُوَ الكلمةُالّتی ألْزَمْتُها المتّقینَ‏۵، مَن أحبَّهُ أحبَّنی ، ومَن أطاعَهُ أطاعَنی .۶

۳۵۵.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Verily Allah informed me of certain issues regarding Ali b. Abu Talib (AS). I said, 'O Lord, reveal them to me.' He said, 'Listen.' I said, 'Certainly I listen'. He said, 'Verily Ali is the banner of guidance, the Imam of My friends, the light of those who obey Me. He is the word that I have attached to the Godwary. Whoever loves him loves Me, and whoever obeys him obeys Me.' ۷

As the successor of the Prophet (PBUH), Imam Ali informs people of an absent Imam from among his descendents who will make world full of justice and remove injustice.

How beautiful it is to combine the event of Ghadir with the words of Imam Ali on his grandson Mahdi.

1. Forgiving

He is so forgiving

2. Shelter

He is a strong shelter

3. Ideal of the good-doers

Whoever comprehends him will find him a glorious light which is an ideal for good-doer 

4. Savior of the Mankind

He breaks all chains and terminates the exploitation of man by man

5. Justice Expander

6. Rejoicing

The crowds on earth and heaven are rejoiced by his coming

7. Reward for Steadfast believers

“There will be a long absence for our Imam and beware, those steadfast in their religion whose hearts never darkens by his long absence, they will be on my side in the heaven on the Judgment Day”‌

8. Praying for Him

“O God! Make his occultation and reappearance the end for all sadness and remove all difference and enmity by him”‌.

There is a basic question here:

Are we ready to accept the Imam of the Time or our benefits and lust makes us lose the way?!

Are we among those preparing for the green and beautiful future through knowledge and self-education?!
