Intercession and God’s Knowledge

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

pray

The Knowledge of God is eternal and He knows from the beginning what will happen to a certain creature and based on the changing state of that creature He will make a certain Divine decision. In this sense, different wills have been granted based on the number of temperaments and changes in the subjects. Thus no flaw or change has been made in the First Order of God, rather, each knowledge is appropriate in proportion to its subject and any will is wise and based on expediency in proportion to its subject.
The world has been created based on a set of causes and effects for the guidance and spiritual perfection of the human beings, where the demands of man are met by ordinary factors and causes. The spiritual graces of God such as guidance, forgiveness and pardoning descend upon man based on certain order and it is within the Wise Will of God that man ought to receive these graces through certain causes and for certain reasons. Therefore, as such no one in the material world can ask why the Almighty God has illuminated Earth by Sun and why He has not illuminated it directly, this question cannot be asked either: Why does the Almighty God grant His forgiveness to His servants through His saints?

Who is your friend

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

http://www.shiawisdom.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Helping-Friends.jpg

Since the influence of friend of man is very deep, Islamic teachings have given an important status to the friendship. In Holy Qur’an it is stated that most of the companions of the Fire will say, in the Hell, that

Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter.” [1]

So it is very important to know how your friend is.

In this regard, there is a very nice hadith in which Imam Baqir (A.S) said:

My father Ali Ibn al- Hussein (A.S), once, advised me: ‘O son, do not associate, talk, or accompany five classes of people.’ ‘Who are they, father?’ asked me, and he (A.S) answered: ‘Beware of associating with the liar, for he is as same as a mirage: he shows you the near as remote, and shows you the remote as near. Beware of associating with the sinful, for he will disappoint you for a single bite or even something less valuable. Beware of associating with the stingy, for he will let you down when you are in urgent need of his property. Beware of associating the foolish, for he harms you when he intends to do you favor. Beware of associating with the disregardful of his relatives, for I found him cursed in the Book of Allah. [2]

Gratitude

It’s true that one generally does not realize what he or she has until it’s gone or not available, and by fasting in Ramadan, Muslims become acutely aware of the unlimited abundance of divine favor God Almighty has blessed humanity with, particularly with regards to sustenance.
The cultivation of gratitude is a core purpose of Islam, and few spiritual practices cultivate gratitude as does fasting in Ramadan!

Empathy and Compassion

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

Empathy-and-Compassion

Although we live in a world of natural abundance, of divine grace and providence, unfortunately due to lack of empathy, compassion and solidarity among human beings, there are many throughout the globe who still struggle with hunger, poverty, lack and scarcity.
When a Muslim observes fasting in Ramadan, he or she feels the hunger that many experience daily as a normal consequence of their circumstances.
By fasting in Ramadan, we develop the holy qualities of empathy and compassion, becoming more aware of our intrinsic connection and oneness with all human beings regardless of borders or labels that create artificial separation among the citizens of the human rac.

What is the Fast of the Month of Ramadan

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

O Believers! Fast is prescribed for you as it was for those before you so that you may ward off evil. (Fast) a certain number of days… (Holy Qur’an: Chapter 2, Verses 182-183)

Every year in the ninth lunar month of the Islamic calendar, Muslims around the world abstain from food, drink, vain talk and certain other actions from before sunrise until after sunset.

The Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions all enjoin fasting. Moses observed a fast of forty days at Mount Sinai at the time of the revelation of the Ten Commandments. (Exodus 24:18) Although less common now, it is Jewish tradition to fast when mourning or when in danger. Most practicing Jews still fast on the Day of Atonement and for the one-week commemoration of the destruction of Jerusalem in 597 B.C. Jesus of Nazareth, peace be upon him, also fasted on the Day of Atonement and the forty days of Moses’ fast to ward off Satanic temptation.

What Is the Most Specific Fast

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

The highest level of fasting is to disengage oneself from other than Allāh (SwT).  Every thought, speech, action, etc.  is solely for Allāh (SwT).  The fasting one in this level ensures that not only does he observe the first two levels of fasting, but protects his heart from other than Allāh (SwT).  Perhaps this noble dictum of Imām al-Sādiq (‘a) refers to this very station:

أَلْقَلْبُ حَرَمُ اللٌّهِ، فَلاََ تُسْكِنْ فِی حَرَمِ اللٌّهِ غَیْرَ اللٌّهِ.

“The heart is the sanctuary of Allāh; therefore do not make other than Allāh reside in the sanctuary of Allāh.”

The result of such a fast is ‘the Paradise of Divine Encounter’ (Jannat al-Liqā’).  If we ponder over the supplications of the Holy month of Ramadān and try to understand what kind of reception and banquet we can anticipate, we would realize that it is this level of fasting that we must struggle to attain.

The Islamic Concept of Hijab

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

The Islamic Concept of Hijab

What is the meaning of the hijab? What is meant by hijab?
Surely, the concept of hijab adopted by Islam differs completely from the hijab which was introduced by the civilizations of Jahiliyah including the miserable social phenomena which were existed in the palaces of some Ummayad and Abbasid rulers concerning the exploitation of women in order to achieve their own enjoyment.
Even the term hijab did not enter the ideological life of Muslims except recently. Whatever has been said about woman, the fact remains that Islam's aspiration for protecting her through shaping a special dress for her shows Islam's honuor and respect for her and her dignity, cleanliness and purity.

ramadan kareem

A child runs away from his parents' home because of his ignorance. Soon after, he makes his way back into his parents' arms feeling their kindness, compassion and embrace; this is an example of repentance. When we return to the house of divine mercy, Allah the Exalted accepts us and welcomes us with His open arms. We should appreciate the value of this return, which naturally happens to devout people.

The tears alone, running down the faces while paying attention to God, are very precious and valuable. Our careless hearts make mistakes because we fall into temptation; the month of Ramadan has offered us the opportunity to cleanse ourselves.  The process of purification is exceptionally valuable; tears may cleanse many of hearts, but they should be preserved. All great pains, deadly and dangerous diseases; arrogance, jealousy, treachery and decadence, which are great diseases, find the opportunity to cure themselves in the month of Ramadan.

The most virtuous month of the year

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

Ramadan

The name Ramadan is derived from the word Ramda' (رمضاء) which means burning. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "This month (i.e. Ramadan) has been named Ramadan because it burns the sins."[1]

Ramadan is so much virtuous that in the Quran among all months only Ramadan has been alluded to and this allusion in the book of God which has been sent to humanity for all times till the Day of Judgment shows the importance of this holy month. In hadiths Ramadan has been described as the month of God and a divine banquet in which the host is God Almighty himself. He receives his guests in this month with mercy and forgiveness. The Prophet (PBUH) said:"whoever fasts during the whole month of Ramadan, it is obligatory upon God to forgive all his sins, guarantee the rest of his life and spare him from the thirst of the day of judgment".[2]

The Muslim population today is about 1.2 billion and is spread over a vast range of races, nationalities, and cultures.

Approximately 18% of the Muslims live in the Arab world, but the majority live in Asia and Africa. What is Islam

   Author: مکبر 3    Issue:Islam ،

islam_is_peace_by_iraneman-d49zryl

“Islam” means “submitting or surrendering one’s will to the will of Allah”.2 Mankind naturally submits to Allah; this instinct was born with him on the day of his creation. In reality, the entire universe – the stars, the planets, and the oceans – submits to the will of Allah through its ordered workings.

Modern science calls this phenomenon “the laws of nature,” but these laws of nature, from an Islamic perspective, are not just any laws of nature but the laws of Allah for nature. Human beings, as creatures of Allah who are in need of Him throughout their entire lives, must also surrender their wills and desires to the will of the Almighty, the Creator.
